Biography

Nathan is a postdoctoral researcher based at the Institute for Implementation Science in Health Care (IfIS). His work focuses on citizen science in rare disease research (ITINERARE), infection prevention and control in neonatal intensive care units (NeoIPC) and the management of antibiotic treatment for neonatal sepsis in Africa (SNIP-Africa).

He was awarded a PhD by the University of Worcester (UK) in February 2025 for his work evaluating the development and implementation of a county-wide support programme for families affected by dementia.

During and following completing his PhD, Nathan worked for the UK-wide centre for implementing evidence in adult social care (IMProving Adult Care Together – IMPACT). He collaborated with the public, private, and third sectors to understand and act on evidence from research, practice knowledge, and lived experience.

Nathan welcomes communications and collaborations on developing, implementing, and evaluating psychosocial intervention in dementia; advancing scaling science and practice to ensure that promising health and care interventions are implemented sustainably and equitably; and finding ways to capture the wider costs and benefits of complex health and care interventions.
