Mina Stanikic studied medicine at her hometown's University of Novi Sad (Serbia). Following graduation and clinical training in 2018, she continued her education in Maastricht, the Netherlands, where she completed MSc in Epidemiology.

Mina worked in pharmaceutical industry and in public health sector before commencing her PhD in January 2021 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Viktor von Wyl. In her current position, Mina works with the data of the Swiss Multiple Sclerosis Registry and her research focuses on ageing with multiple sclerosis. She assists fellow group members in different digital and mobile health projects.
