Marie-Therese Schultes studied psychology at the University of Vienna and finished her PhD in 2015 with her thesis focusing on the implementation of evidence-based interventions in educational settings.
Then she worked as a researcher at the Department of Evidence-based Medicine and Clinical Epidemiology, Danube University Krems and at the Gillings School of Global Public Health, University of North Carolina, where she led and participated in implementation and evaluation research projects in health settings.
From 2018 to 2021, Marie-Therese held a position as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Developmental and Educational Psychology, University of Vienna, where she led the project „Promote ImpSci – How to support implementation science in German speaking countries“.
Her research centers on implementation evaluation, assessment of implementation outcomes, implementation competencies and capacity building for implementation science.
From 2010, Marie-Therese has taught numerous courses in implementation science, evaluation, educational psychology, public health and mediation at various universities.
